bike locks and life

im sitting here right now in my living room at 1am watching a muted stephen colbert and blasting lil wayne because i cant sleep! I have been meaning to write about this for a while but i haven't had the time. the other day i was meeting my friend erinn at the theater to see, Son of Rambow*, right when i got there I called her and she said she was waiting by the front doors. so i made my way over and we went up to our movie. flash forward to after the movie. I searched my bag at least 5 times and searched all around the movie seats. nothing. so i went to guest services to see if by random chance someone had dropped them off. i described the keys to the woman behind the desk and she turned around and grabbed them out of a cabinet. so pumped. she told me that i had left them next to my bike and some dudes brought them up. so erinn and i are making our way to my bike and i start unlocking and the guys next to me realize that it was my bike. come to find out these are dudes that brought my keys to guest services. they tell me that they found my bike with my bike lock, with keys inside, sitting on my bike seat. i just spaced out and left it there! needless to say i was more than pumped to meet these dudes. its just good to know there are still some decent people out in the world.

they left this note on my bike, thinking they would not get to meet me.


*the movie was amazing. so funny. so british. just good. go see it if you can.

**I left my 4 gb jumpdrive in the digital lab on sunday afternoon. not too important but it would be rad to get the files off of it. so if anyone has any information please hit me up. nathanieltwood@yahoo.com
